1. Case Overview
The clients suddenly faced a lawsuit from a loan company demanding payment for a transferred debt. The reason was a past debt incurred by their deceased father over 20 years ago (in 2002). The loan company aggressively pressured the clients by claiming not only the principal but also a high default interest rate of 17% per year that had accumulated over two decades.

Faced with the prospect of taking on an unexpected and massive mountain of debt, the clients were at risk of having their own personal assets subjected to compulsory execution (seizure). The most critical issue was to legally and clearly prove the validity of "Limited Acceptance" to defend their personal wealth, ensuring the clients did not suffer unjust harm due to an old debt left by their father.

The defense team at Law Firm Theo immediately analyzed the case records in detail and mounted a response. Based on relevant laws and evidence, we actively argued that the clients were only liable to repay the debt "within the limit of the property inherited" from their father. We focused on persuading the court by legally refuting the creditor's unreasonable claim, which had been filed belatedly.

4. Result of Assistance
The court accepted all of Law Firm Theo's arguments and issued a "Reconciliation Recommendation Decision" stating, "The defendants (clients) shall pay money only within the limit of the property inherited from the deceased." As a result, the clients were freed from the shackles of a debt that was over 20 years old and were able to perfectly protect their precious personal assets.
